When marketing online, you can maintain control of targeted traffic to your website with the help of article writing about your business opportunity and promoting your articles to numerous publishers and distribution entities. Many people have heard about the concept of how article marketing can and will help in your online ventures, however, most people have never taken the time or effort to really see what article marketing is all about.
In today’s article we want to share with you some of the rather basics of article marketing and how it can enhance your “Positions with Google, Yahoo, Bing” and other fine search engines as well as building a following of avid readers.
There are no shortcuts in this process and you must be willing to devote the time for research and writing in order for this method of marketing to have any impact on the outcome of your marketing endeavors.
If you don’t have the desire, commitment and drive to learn this process, then don’t waste any more of your time spinning your wheel and going nowhere. Go back to playing games and keep up with your sharing of jokes and funny stuff in your emails with friends and family. However, if you’re truly serious about making money on the internet this article is for you.
I have proven many times over that article marketing is probably one of the easiest, most powerful ways to promote an opportunity online compared to any other marketing activity you may be involved with right now. You can promote a personal idea, a proven concept for success or even a political view and can do it with acceptance from some segment of internet users.
You can use article marketing as a method of promoting your products or services, affiliate programs and even build a powerful mailing list. Few marketing tools offer such a broad array of advantages as article marketing with little to no expense.
Let’s talk for a moment about the tools that are necessary when you’re just getting started with writing articles. You must have a topic you are going to talk about. You must do some research about that topic and totally understand the good as well as the bad aspects of your subject matter. Sharing information is what the internet is all about and the more you know the better you will be able to convey your thoughts to your reading audience.
You must write from the heart. Try to put into words how you feel and why you are so passionate about your subject matter. Time is the most important tool that you will use to your advantage when writing. The more you know about your subject matter the easier it will be to convey that message to your reading audience.
The more you write the better at writing you will become. Write exactly as you would talk to a person who may have showed an interest in your idea. Whether your idea is right or wrong is not important at this point, your sharing of information is the crucial issue here. Of course the more popular your subject matter is the more acceptances you will probably enjoy.
There are many private label rights (often referred to as PLR) articles published that may furnish you some good ideas of what to write about. Review these articles and if you don’t use this information for anything else … the PLR articles format will give you some direction in your writing.
With many of these articles they will provide some good information, however, are extremely dull and lack enthusiasm. By using the general idea of the PLR Articles and adding your personal touch of sugar and spice is an excellent way for you to get started in this new venture of writing.
There may be a time when you write an article and really don’t feel that you’ve conveyed your ideas and opinions effectively to your reading audience and you don’t know whether you should publish the article or not. Go ahead and publish the article because you never know what may turn someone on with your information approach.
Recently I wrote an article and at the time, I felt the article was probably one of the worst articles I had written in awhile. I was checking the internet a couple of days later to see how my overall rankings was doing and low and behold that bad article was on page one of Google in position three. That article has become one of the most read articles that I’ve ever written. Go figure!
By providing good, no hype, factual information in your writing is an extremely powerful way of promoting your opportunity. Your truthful quality information will soon build a following of avid readers with many of those individuals will become future clients. The internet is all about information and by writing you can become an integral part of this marketing phenomenon. This is what marketing is all about.
A great way to gain link popularity is the proper use of the resource box that should be included each time you write an article. After reading what you have to say in your article the reader is going to want to know a bit more about the author and how to get hold of you.
This is where the resource box really plays that all important role in the overall effectiveness of your writing. Make sure you include your name, your contact information and a couple of links pointing to your business opportunity.
Keep the content area of your writing free of any business references and reserve that information for the resource box. This will encourage the reader to read the whole content of your article and become accustom to where to find your contact information.
Once you’ve written your article then comes’ the need for a place to submit your writing for maximum exposure. I’ve found that publishing my articles in article directories is an excellent way to get my writings published promptly.
Owning your own article directory allows you to control the publishing of your articles as well as permitting other accomplished authors to publish to your directory as well. This is good because your business opportunity links will also appear on any articles that others may download from your directory.
